The menu at La Feria covers a bit of ground with some things you won't find at every other restaurant and items to fit many needs, starting with plenty of appetizers, some with vegetarian selections. Or you can order from their Nachos section with 5 different types available. Even if you're looking to eat light, there are choices for you, like one of our favorites the JERRY’S LIGHT PLATE, it's one crispy taco (chicken or beef), fresh guacamole salad and a chile con queso. (Light & Tasty.)
Another plate we would recommend is the CHIMICHANGA WITH SALSA TOPPING CHOICE, which is a fried flour tortilla filled with Pico de Gallo, delicious white cheese and either of chicken, ground beef or steak. You get to choose the topping... Verde, Ranchero, chile con queso or chile con carne salsa. Our choice? The chile con queso topping and the steak. It's an extra $1 for the steak, but this makes a great Chimichanga. (And definitely not light)
You'll also find a pretty large selection of fajita, enchilada and seafood choices on their menu. But one of the first things we ever noticed about La Feria was that their lunch prices are VERY affordable. Something we can all appreciate with the price of virtually everything else on the rise right now. La Feria also serves breakfast, and on Saturday or Sunday, something special for you Menudo lovers.
This restaurant makes a terrific hang out for friends and family. Have a Margarita or two, some hot Mexican food and on Thursdays at the Austin location from 7pm - 9pm listen to live Mariachi music on the covered patio. Plus, each of the locations have Happy Hours most days of the week.
