Here's a little place that's kind of off the beaten path that everybody in Georgetown, Texas should know about... Brooklyn Pie Company. This one is a locally owned franchise which (if you're not paying close attention) you might miss as your driving down Williams Drive. It's located just off of Williams about one block west from I-35.
Brooklyn Pie Co. is another of the local pizza joints that offers a tasty alternative to the same ol' stuff you get at the chains. It's New York style gourmet pizza and it is fantastic!
We would personally recommend the "White Connecticut Garlic Clam" pizza. We could seriously eat pizza everyday, so long as there are unique choices like this out there. It's made with smoked baby clams in extra virgin olive oil & garlic, roma tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzerrella. Don't like clams? Order it without... it's a wonderful white pizza. Also consider trying "The Original Mama Mia" with garlic, Chicago meatballs, pepperoni, red onions and marinated tomatoes. Excellent! You will most certainly love this pizza.
If you're looking for a salad or desserts, surprisingly Brooklyn Pie Co. takes care of that as well. We had a wonderful Greek salad with authentic Greek Feta, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, red onions, and more with a side of their famous Greek vinaigrette dressing. And the real surprise was the desserts. One of the stores top sellers is the Carnegie NY Cheesecake. DO NOT take this lightly. It's HUGE, and has a very nice texture and flavor that will undoubtedly have you calling in to order it even when you're not having pizza.
Brooklyn Pie Company in Georgetown, Texas is one definitely one of our favorite "Austin Area" pizza joints. Enjoy.
