Another stop on our Austin restaurant tour...  Chisholm Trail Icehouse & BBQ.  This is definitely not your average BBQ joint.  Chisholm Trail is just a little off the 183 trail at the corner of Spicewood Springs and 183 next to the Big Lots store.  This is a great place to go and watch Longhorn games or other big events with cold beer and hot bbq. 

Restaurant owner Randy Hashem is usually there taking care of his loyal customers on a regular basis.  Why are they so popular?  Plain and simple, when the food is good, the customers come back.  And the first thing that hits you when walking in the door is a wonderful aroma of smoked meats.  We get hungry just thinking about it. 

One of our favorites...?  Who can pick just one?  We loved it all.  We recommend that you give them a try, and find out for yourself.
